Nav20s

Empowering young adults to introduce their peers to the way of Jesus

We are a generational movement of change-makers relentlessly pursuing Christ and relationally multiplying our lives. We introduce our friends to the way of Jesus.

Foundations

Do you have questions about Christianity? Are you intrigued by this guy Jesus? Are there objections you wish you could talk through with someone? You can’t seem to make sense of the Bible? Foundations might be just what you’ve been looking for. In a safe space—sensitive to your context, culture, and religion—you will be able to explore, ask questions, discuss, and journey together with other 20s and 30s like you. We don’t guarantee the destination, but promise to walk alongside you.

The Discipleship Project

Whether you entrusted your life to Christ yesterday or a while ago, The Discipleship Project will help you holistically grow, mature, and live missionally. Depending on your situation, you may decide to participate in its one or more elements.

Gathering

The form may morph and change from time to time, but the goal remains the same: come together. We are friends. We share a meal and definitely coffee (we have tea, too). Maybe even communion. We remind each other of what’s really important in life. We teach and we learn. We study the Scriptures. We thank. We pray. We sing. We laugh and encourage. We figure out how to live on purpose, missionally, so that our Master—Jesus—would be known and cherished in all people groups. Consider yourself invited.

Mentorship

We highly value mentors. Someone who will encourage us, but also tell it like it is when needed. This person who is a little ahead in the journey of life and faith who will love us unconditionally and always point to Christ. This trusted friend you won’t hesitate to ask a hard question or call after a hard day. Because walking alone is just not that much fun.

One2One

Let’s face it—all you’ve learned, but haven’t put to use is… useless. So we want you to have the opportunity to utilize your knowledge right from the get-go. And we believe we’re most motivated to learn and grow when another person benefits from it. That’s the reason we’ll encourage and equip you to walk alongside and mentor a person who is still seeking what a relationship with God looks like. It is easier and more rewarding than you could ever imagine.

Social Justice

The gospel is practical. It breaks chains of oppression and injustice. It opposes corruption. It hugs a child. It feeds the homeless and tired. It abolishes slavery and seeks to destroy sex trafficking. It befriends the refugees. It brings hope. It changes things. God is the gospel. We are His conduits of this transformation. Let’s do something. Let’s do it together.

Four Pursuits

Christ

Christ

Jesus — He is our vision. Radically and undeniably. He is the first and the last. We owe Him not only our existence, every breath we take, but also our future. He is our hero, our master, our liberator, our everything. He runs the universe, everything from galaxies to governments, no power exempt from His rule. It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Alive, we’re His messengers; dead — His bounty.

Work

What are we actually saved for, not just from?, is a question we wrestle with. We strive to see vocation as integral, not incidental, in God’s economy, and that it profoundly matters to Him. We refuse to see the divide between the sacred and the secular. We take notice how God is working in this world, in us, and through us — for His glory and for the sake of the world.

Mission

The natural overflow of being a disciple of Jesus has always been to make disciples of Jesus. “Follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men”. God has invited us to be a part of the greatest rescue mission on earth — disciples of Jesus made in every single nation. And this mission doesn’t belong to church professionals. It’s a task for every believer, every disciple — right where we are — across the cubicle and across the planet.

Community

We long for community marked by authenticity, transparency, and encouragement; where we enter in each others’ lives, serve with our gifts and talents, and meet the needs of those who need help. No topic is taboo. But above all, we want to feel connected — both to each other and to something larger than ourselves. Are you in?
