COLLEGIATE

James Crumb

Collegiate - UIC

Yo, yo, yo! It’s ya boy James Crumb here. I grew up in Chicago, Maryland, Nebraska, Florida, and then Chicago again! I went to school at UIC and graduated with a BFA in Theatre Performance. Yes I am dramatic. Sometimes funny. But mostly serious about coming back to my alma mater to work with the Navigators as we spread the Good News of Jesus Christ! I graduated in 2015 and since then have started my own theatre company and apprenticed a pastor at Pilsen Community Church.

Although I do love my craft (acting), God stole my heart as soon as I graduated college and roped me into pursuing ministry. After volunteering for the Navigators for a full school year, I could not resist what God was doing at UIC. I am pumped to see what God has in store for college campuses in Chicago.

You can mostly find me either rollerblading, biking, or skateboarding around the city popping in and out of the local art scene that Chicago has to offer. I also love working out and playing tennis/basketball. Meet me on the court, a concert, a play, or on campus, and I will surely say, “Sup dude”.
